Price lists
A price list is a set of prices for your Catalog. With several lists you charge differently depending on the customer — retail, wholesale, in dollars — without changing the product. Each list works in a single currency.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Create a list
Section titled “Create a list”New list opens New price list. Give it a clear Name (for example, “Wholesale” or “Prices in dollars”), pick the Currency — remember a list quotes in a single currency — and leave it Active (available for quoting) so you can use it. Changes save on their own.
The default list
Section titled “The default list”There’s always exactly one default list: it’s the one that applies when the customer has no more specific list assigned. To change it, mark another as Default list — the previous one stops being the default on its own.
Find them fast
Section titled “Find them fast”The table shows each list with its Name, Currency, whether it’s Default, and its Status. The status filter — Active and inactive, Active only or Inactive only — lets you see just what you use.
How a list is used
Section titled “How a list is used”- Per customer — on the contact’s or company’s profile you assign their list; their quotes come out with those prices.
- Per segment — a segment can carry its list, and all its members inherit it.
- When quoting — the quote takes the customer’s list, or you can let it resolve on its own based on who you’re quoting.
