How the CRM works

The CRM is the path where someone who just messaged you becomes, step by step, your customer. Each step has its own screen —from lead to contact, to opportunity, to sale— and they all share the same data. You enter it once and it’s on every screen: you see each person in full, with their whole story.

  • Lead — the prospect you don’t yet know will buy. Lives in Leads, where you qualify them and follow up. → Work your leads
  • Contact — the person already in your CRM: their details, contact methods, history and sales. → Create a contact · The contact profile
  • Company — a separate branch, not another step: if the customer is an organization (not every person is), the B2B account groups all its people and sales. → B2B accounts (companies)
  • Opportunity — the concrete deal in motion, with its amount and stage, in the pipeline. → Use the pipeline
  • Quote — the formal offer that, once accepted, closes the sale. → Create and send a quote

Your directory of people and companies, a table with four zones, top to bottom:

You switch between People —the individuals, say Rodrigo Vargas— and Companies —the B2B accounts, say Ferretería El Roble, the company Rodrigo works at—. It’s the same screen with two lists, each with its own count.

Search by name, phone or email; Import contacts in bulk, pick which Columns to show, or create one with + New contact.

All, Mine, Unassigned, No conversation — one click narrows the list to what matters.

The list itself, with the columns you choose; each row opens that person’s profile.

Two pieces hold up all the rest:

  • Segments — groups of contacts (VIP, prospects, active customers) for campaigns and group pricing. → Create a segment
  • Catalog and Price lists — your products and the price they’re quoted at depending on the customer. → Add a product · Price lists

The journey isn’t a row of separate screens: from any person’s profile you message them, quote them or turn them into a company; from the pipeline you move the opportunity until you win it. The CRM keeps the full thread so no data — and no sale — is lost along the way.
