How Ma-ko works

Ma-ko starts from a simple idea: your next sale has already messaged you. It’s in that unanswered WhatsApp, that Instagram DM, that email from yesterday. The whole system exists so that conversation doesn’t get lost, has a clear owner, and ends in a sale.

The diagrams below are in Spanish — Ma-ko’s home language.

WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, email and your website chat all land in one shared Inbox. No borrowed phones, no personal accounts: every customer stays in their same thread, full history included, no matter who answers.

System map: channels flow into one inbox, the team handles them, the CRM keeps order and the sale closes.

A conversation has at most one agent in charge. The ones that arrive unowned stay with the channel’s team, and the first to take them keeps them. Seeing a conversation doesn’t mean you can reply: only its agent, their team lead or an admin can. Nobody steps on anybody, and nothing is left orphaned.

A conversation's journey: it arrives through any channel, gets handled as a team, gets answered and ends won, lost or closed.

When someone shows interest, a prospect is born — automatically or by hand — and moves down the funnel: it gets qualified, becomes an opportunity and enters the sales board. You never leave the chat to make it happen.

The prospect's journey: born from a conversation or by hand, qualified, and moved down the funnel until they become a customer.

You build it without switching screens, the customer receives it as a PDF over WhatsApp, you follow its journey (sent, viewed, accepted), and on acceptance the sale is recorded in the same thread, payment method included.

The quote: built in the chat, sent as a PDF, the customer decides and the sale is born.

The Assistant assists — you’re in charge

Section titled “The Assistant assists — you’re in charge”

Ma-ko’s AI receives, understands and drafts with your business’s real data, but everything starts off and turns on in steps: Copilot, Shadow, and only then autonomy. Every reply leaves a trace, and the brake is always at hand.

The Assistant: it receives, understands, assists with drafts and evidence, and you decide how much autonomy to grant.

Three roles (Owner, Administrator, Agent), teams per channel and one single visibility switch that applies evenly to chats, contacts and sales. You decide how much the team shares; what’s not someone’s to see simply doesn’t appear.

Teams and permissions: the roles, the teams, who sees what and who decides.

If the customer writes again, their thread reopens on its own. And the ones who go quiet get chased by a follow-up: a sequence of steps that insists for you. Each step is a wait plus an action —message the customer on WhatsApp, alert an agent or leave them a task—, running one after another, each on schedule (up to 50 per follow-up). It all stops instantly when the customer replies. Unanswered quotes also remind you, suggest insisting and, if they died, are marked lost with their reason. The system keeps the pace; you close.

Automatic follow-ups: build it once, the prospect enters, it runs step by step and stops on its own when they reply.
