Create a contact

Whoever writes you on WhatsApp registers on their own; creating by hand is for everyone else: the customer who called, the referral, the list you already had.

Before you start

You need

• The person’s name and at least a phone number or an email.

Steps

1. Open Contacts. In the menu, go to Contacts and choose + New contact.

2. Fill in the basics. The Full name is required, plus a Phone or an Email. In Company you can link an existing company or type it as free text.

3. Press “Create contact”. The profile is ready in your CRM.

4. If you’ll quote them, complete their Tax details. Open their profile and fill in the ID type, ID number and legal name — that way quotes go out with the right details.

Who handles them

From the profile you also set their Preferred assignment: an exclusive agent with a backup team, so they’re always handled by whoever knows them.

Result

Note

The contact lives in your CRM: you can message them, group them into segments, quote them and see their full history in one place.
