Create and send a quote
Quotes are born in the conversation: you build them without leaving the chat, the customer gets a PDF, and their answer moves the sale forward.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”-
In the conversation, choose “New quote”. It’s in the contact panel on the right. The New quote drawer opens.
-
Add the items. Search products from the Catalog or add a Free item. Adjust Qty, Price and discount; subtotal, tax and total are calculated for you.
-
Check validity and currency. Set the Valid until date and, if you use several, the Price list (the list sets the currency; Automatic (based on customer) resolves it for you). Changes save on their own; close with Done.
-
Send it with “Send”. In the Quotes section of the panel, choose Send: review the PDF preview and confirm with Confirm and send. The customer receives it over WhatsApp. It’s sent by its owner (whoever created it) or an admin, and once sent it can no longer be edited: if something needs fixing, create a new one.
-
Record the outcome. When the customer decides, mark Accept (the sale is recorded with its payment method and the conversation moves to Won) or Reject and, optionally, its reason.
Hand it to another agent
Section titled “Hand it to another agent”If someone else needs to carry the quote — because you’re going off shift or the case changes hands — in the Quotes section of the panel choose Transfer. In Transfer quote you pick the New owner and confirm with Transfer: the quote passes into that agent’s hands and they carry it from here — they edit and send it while it’s still a draft, and follow it through to close. Each quote shows its owner, and No owner marks the ones left with no one responsible (for example, if whoever created it left the team).
Void a recorded sale
Section titled “Void a recorded sale”If you marked Accept by mistake, or the sale fell through afterward, in the Quotes section of the panel Void sale reverses that close: in Void the quote’s sale you confirm and the sale stops counting. You can only void a quote that has a recorded sale — otherwise you’ll see This quote has no sale to void.
