Decide who sees what

Business visibility is a single decision that applies evenly to conversations, contacts and sales.

Before you start

You need

• To be the business owner or an admin.

Steps

1. Open Settings → Business. Find the Default business visibility section.

2. Pick the mode. Three options: Public (everyone sees everything) — the starting default, ideal for small teams; Their team only — each agent sees their teams’ work, plus what’s assigned to them; Assigned only — each agent sees only their own. The change saves immediately.

3. Set per-team exceptions (optional). In Settings → Teams, each team can set its own visibility: Inherit from business, Public or Private. The team’s exception wins over the general mode.

Who always sees everything

The owner and admins see the whole business under any mode, and a team’s lead always sees their team’s work. The fence applies to agents.

Result

Note

Everyone sees what’s theirs to see — in the Inbox, in Contacts and in the Pipeline alike. What’s not theirs simply doesn’t appear, not even through a direct link.
