Create a proactive message

Automatically greet your site visitors to start more conversations.

Before you start

You’ll need

• The web chat channel (Webchat) active.

Steps

1. Go to Proactive messages. In the menu, open Proactive messages and press New.

2. Write the message. Draft the greeting the visitor will see when they land on your site.

3. Set the rule. Choose when and on which page the message shows.

4. Save and activate. Press Save and turn the message on so it starts showing.

Less is more

A single well-placed greeting converts better than several pop-ups in a row.
